About this event
Join us at An Fos Vineyard in Lower Metherell, near Callington, for a guided walk and wine tasting. An Fos, meaning 'the wall' in Cornish, is a community supported vineyard in the Tamar Valley. Volunteers contribute time and an annual subscription to help run the vineyard, from pruning to harvest, and in return receive a share of the wine produced. The open day includes two guided walks starting at 11:00 and 13:30, each featuring an introductory talk at Mill Lane Acres, a walk around the vineyard (approximately 5 minutes uphill over uneven ground), a complimentary wine sample with light refreshments, and the chance to speak with current members and sign up. The first session includes picnic space in the vineyard. Children must stay with adults, and dogs are not allowed. Free entry with booking essential. Car parking is limited and must be reserved in advance.
