An Iberian Wine Masterclass: Spain & Portugal

Try delightful wines from Portugal and Spain, perfectly paired with delicacies from the Iberian Peninsula. Our Iberian Wine Tasting is a journey across Spain and Portugal, two countries home to some of the world’s oldest and most characterful wine regions. From the sun-baked vineyards of Rioja to the lush, Atlantic-influenced landscapes of northern Portugal, Iberian wines are shaped by diverse and dramatic terroirs, indigenous grape varieties, and centuries of winemaking tradition. We’ll taste at least six classic wines, spanning different regions across the Iberian Peninsula, accompanied by a selection of complementary Iberian dishes and canapés, created using our extensive deli range in the shop. And to finish, we’ll explore two contrasting styles of Port side by side from Kopke, one of the world’s oldest Port houses — a 20-Year-Old Tawny versus a Fine Ruby Port. A fitting finale to our Iberian journey. The tasting will last approximately 1½ hours, starting at 7pm.
