Argentina Beyond Malbec

Argentina’s love affair with beef and barbecue makes Malbec a natural fit, and it’s unsurprisingly the backbone of the country’s winemaking. But with Malbec accounting for just 20% of total plantings, it’s clear there’s much more to Argentine wine than this single grape. Our tasting will begin in Mendoza, the heartland of Argentine wine culture, before venturing across the country’s other regions to explore local varieties found nowhere else in the world. By evening’s end, we hope to have shown just how rich and versatile Argentine wine truly is.
