Join us for a discovery of some well kept hidden gems and pair them alongside a delicious selection of cheese supplied by Gourmet Cheese Co. Germany produces some of the best Riesling in the world and people often forget the versatility of this humble grape variety. Apart from the wonderful Riesling, it also produces some outstanding Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc), Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and of course Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Austria in recent years has shown popularity with the infamous Grüner Veltliner, but has plenty of more to offer and the same goes for next door neighbour Hungary. Your tasting will include: Seven carefully selected wines from Germany, Austria and Hungary, Six deliciously matched artisan cheeses from Gourmet Cheese Co, 2-hour tutored wine tasting with wine notes.
