Christmas Port, Cheese and More…

Our new, “Christmas Cheese, Port and More” extravaganza is an opportunity to compare different styles of Port to other fortified wines together with a little cheese on the side. The line-up will feature our selection of complex classics including Port, Sherry and Madeira alongside captivating curiosities from around the world. Explore something of the history of these famous wines, what makes them different and how to best enjoy them. Here’s an idea of the line-up: Criadera Palo Cortado en Rama, Barbadillo; Henriques and Henriques Malvasia, 10 Years Old; Curatolo Arini Marsala Superiore Riserva 10 Year Old; Quinta da Pedra Alta 'Alta No. 10' 10 Year Old Tawny Port; Quinta do Noval Unfiltered Single Vineyard Late Bottled Vintage Port 2019; Symington Crusted Port, Bottled 2013. The wines served alongside an accompanying plate of Mature Cheddar, Stilton and Northumbrian cheese with nuts and dried fruit to nibble on between sips - these are just some of the possibilities!
