Savoury snacks are not only incredibly moreish, they're also packed with punchy flavour. At this tasting we'll reveal how their salty profile brings out the best in a wine and how the big bold flavours in some of our favourite crisps and snacks can tease out hidden flavours making a wine seem more complex and exciting. During the evening we'll explore at least six pairings including some of the following: Chablis and Smiths Scampi flavour Fries, Assyrtiko with Sensations Lime and Coriander Chutney Poppadoms, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with Pickled Onion Monster Munch, Gewurztraminer and Sensations Thai Sweet Chilli crisps, Chardonnay and Sour Cream & Chive Pringles, English Fizz and Truffle Flavour Crisps, Rioja and Walkers Max Paprika crisps, Malbec & McCoys Flame Grilled Steak flavour crisps, Chãteauneuf-du-Pape with Bacon Frazzles, Primitivo with BBQ crisps, Côtes du Rhône and Wotsits.
