Join our English Sparkling Wine Tour and discover why it is being hailed as the new Champagne. During this experience, you’ll visit celebrated independent vineyards producing award-winning sparkling wines. You’ll discover how it is made and be guided through a tasting of still and sparkling wines.
Kent is fast becoming the sparkling wine capital of England, thanks to its chalky soil, mild climate, and passionate winemakers. With the region's temperature now matching what Champagne’s was a decade ago, it’s no surprise that English sparkling wine is taking the wine world by storm. In fact, several renowned Champagne houses are snapping up Kentish vineyards to craft their very own English sparkling wine.
You’ll learn about winemaking methods used for English sparkling wines and taste eight or more award-winning English sparkling and still wines. The tour includes a Kentish cheese, charcuterie or plant platter, and a local guide and driver for the day.
Pick-up is from Ashford International Station at 10:45 and drop-off at 5pm. Dietary requirements can be accommodated if notified in advance.
