Fine Champagne Rosé Tasting & Sabrage!

My name is Cécile Bergart, and as a Champagne Expert (born amongst the vineyards of the Champagne Region, France), I will be presenting you with the very best bubbles the Champagne region has to offer and will run this tasting in the most entertaining and educational way.

I am a published Champagne and Wine Educator, a guest champagne expert for Champagne World Magazine and for Channel 4 'SuperScrimpers', a regular guest speaker on BBC Radio Solent, as well as being an approved staff educator for Marks and Spencer. I am also a Ruinart Champagne Ambassador in the UK, a judge at the International 'Glass of Bubbly' Competition. I passed the world-acclaimed Champagne Master-Level Certificate in 2018!

I shall present 6 very different styles of Rosé champagnes from SMALL GROWERS to showcase the entire spectrum of colours, qualities and sweetness levels:

- champagne rosé de saignée: Vesselle GRAND CRU NV DEMI-SEC (100% Pinot Noir)
- champagne rosé de saignée: Tixier NV BRUT (100% Pinot Meunier - extremely rare!!!)
- champagne rosé de saignée: Liebart Regnier NV BRUT (100% Pinot Noir)
- champagne rosé d'assemblage: Larnaudie Hirault PREMIER CRU NV BRUT (40% Pinot Noir, 30% Meunier, 30% Chardonnay)
- champagne rosé de macération assemblé: Vincent Couche NV ZERO DOSAGE (90% Pinot Noir macéré, 10% Chardonnay)
- champagne rosé de presse: Joel Michel OEIL DE PERDRIX (50% Pinot Noir, 50% Meunier)

My favourite tasting by far, so come and join me for a truly decadent evening, which I will start off by sabring a bottle of Champagne for your eyes only! I was trained by the Confrerie des Sabreurs and will be delighted to show off my skills, opening up a bottle of champagne with a sword , just like Napoleon used to do!
