Join us for an insightful masterclass taking a closer look at the modern wines of Tuscany, often referred to as Super Tuscans. Over the last few decades, these wines and their respective producers have challenged long-held winemaking traditions in the region, causing a stir with their desire to break with convention and create wines from either 100% Sangiovese or Bordeaux-inspired blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot – both forbidden by local law at the time. Today, however, these wines are among Italy’s most desirable, and this is a brilliant opportunity to taste examples from some of the most iconic producers.
