About this event
Red wine is far more than full-bodied and brooding—at its lighter end, it's a world of elegance, freshness, and surprising versatility. Join us for a guided tasting of six beautifully distinctive lighter red wines, each offering its own take on what red wine can be when it lets a little light in.
A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere from 7:00pm on Wednesday 9th September 2026. We'll taste six lighter red wines from across the globe, exploring the regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques that give each wine its distinctive freshness and lift. Cheese boards, nuts, and olives will be provided for essential nibbling.
From pale, silky Pinot Noir and peppery Gamay to chillable, fruit-forward styles that blur the line between red and rosé, this is your chance to explore the more delicate side of red wine—and discover just how much complexity and character can be found in a lighter pour.
Whether you're a devoted red wine drinker looking to broaden your horizons, or someone who usually reaches for white or rosé, these are the kinds of reds that have a habit of winning people over.
Come curious, leave inspired—and with a new appreciation for red wine in all its forms.
