About this event
The diversity in the styles that Spain is producing means that it is now one of the most exciting wine-producing countries, and we’re thrilled to be welcoming back our Spanish growers to share their wines with members at this walkaround tasting. The Spanish wine scene covers 70 regions, full of dynamic and talented winemakers who produce wines of all styles. A particular focus is on the indigenous grape varieties, with crisp whites made from albariño and verdejo and grapes such as cariñena, mencía and of course tempranillo making delicious reds. Regions represented at this tasting will include RIoja, Navarra, Priorat, Rias Baixas, Jumilla, Jerez, Gredos, Ribera del Duero, Catalonia and the Canaries. The proposed list of wines to be shown (subject to change) can be found below. We hope you will join us for this walkaround tasting, celebrating Iberian classics and new discoveries.
