About this event

From the vineyards of Europe to the dynamic wine regions of Australia and beyond, this guided tasting highlights how geography, climate and tradition shape the style in your glass. Expect elegant classics alongside vibrant modern expressions, each carefully selected to showcase the diversity of global winemaking.

This tasting offers a unique opportunity to compare the timeless classics of the Old World, from Italy, France and Spain, with the modern techniques of the New World, including Australia, the United States and South America, revealing how tradition and experimentation influence the wines we enjoy today.

Our wines come from small, family-run producers who work exclusively with Davy’s, domaines dedicated to careful vineyard work and authentic expressions of their terroir.

Hosted at Davy’s Mug House, tucked away beneath London Bridge, you’ll sip and savour in truly unique surroundings. Brimming with character, the bar is filled with antique curiosities and historic wine artefacts collected over decades.

Over the course of this two-hour tasting, you’ll sample a thoughtfully curated selection of six wines – three from the old world and three from the new world, uncover the stories behind the regions, and gain insight into what makes each style distinctive. Cheers!
