One Day Introductory Burgundy School, Saturday 5th September 2026

Our One-Day Wine School format has proven incredibly popular over the years and we invite you to join us for a fascinating day discovering the vinous delights of the highly revered region of Burgundy.

The day will begin with a two-hour masterclass in our Pickering Cellar where you will try an array of white and red wines produced in some of the most famous villages such as Chassagne-Montrachet and Gevrey-Chambertin. We will cover the fundamental concepts of climate, terroir, quality hierarchy and producer style via a selection of delicious wines from both well-known names and under-the-radar gems alike.

Then, once we are secure in our new-found knowledge of the region, we will move to our Napoleon Cellar for a sparkling apéritif, before sitting down to enjoy a sumptuous four-course luncheon with a carefully selected flight of wines to go alongside. This a day for all lovers of Burgundy irrespective of your knowledge level or experience and is one not to be missed.
