About this event

No, it's not rosé. No, it's not made from oranges. Yes, it's going to blow your mind. This October, we're pulling back the curtain on one of wine's most misunderstood, and utterly fascinating, styles: Orange Wine. Made from white grapes fermented with their skins on (just like red wine), these amber-hued beauties are ancient, complex, and seriously trendy right now. Georgian monks were doing this 8,000 years ago. We're just catching up.

A guided tasting of carefully selected orange wines from around the world, the story behind skin-contact winemaking, tasting notes, and plenty of 'wait, what IS this?' moments. Expect nutty, textured, tannic whites with flavours of dried apricot, honeycomb, bruised apple and a touch of the funky. These wines are not here to blend in — and neither are you.
