About this event
Join Senior Winemaker Brett Schutz for an evening celebrating the remarkable legacy of Peter Lehmann Wines. From the iconic Black Queen Sparkling Shiraz and benchmark Wigan Riesling to the legendary Stonewell Shiraz, discover six exceptional wines that showcase the very best of the Barossa and Eden Valley. Few names are as deeply woven into the history of the Barossa Valley as Peter Lehmann. Often referred to as “the man who saved the Barossa,” Peter founded his winery with a simple promise: to stand by the region’s grape growers when others would not. That handshake agreement became the foundation of one of Australia’s most respected wineries, built on trust, community and an unwavering belief in the quality of Barossa fruit. Today, Peter Lehmann Wines continues that legacy, producing generous, expressive wines that capture the character of one of the world’s great wine regions. Join us for an exceptional evening hosted by Brett Schutz, Senior Winemaker at Peter Lehmann Wines. Born and raised in the Barossa Valley, Brett has dedicated his career to crafting wines that faithfully express the region’s vineyards while balancing tradition with modern winemaking. Since joining Peter Lehmann Wines in 2022, he has continued the winery’s philosophy of honouring both the growers and the extraordinary fruit that has made the Barossa famous. Over two relaxed hours at Loki Edgbaston, you’ll explore eight outstanding wines that showcase the remarkable diversity of the Barossa and neighbouring Eden Valley. From one of Australia’s finest Sparkling Shiraz wines to iconic Rieslings, mature Semillon and the legendary Stonewell Shiraz, Brett will explain how Peter Lehmann’s enduring relationships with generations of growers continue to produce some of Australia’s most celebrated wines.
