About this event
How much should I spend on wine? Are more expensive wines better? Can you really taste the difference between a cheaper and more expensive bottle? We encounter these questions on a regular basis, so we decided it was time to answer them once and for all alongside a cracking selection of wines! Join us on this fun evening when we will try 8 different wines, all tasted 'blind'. We will taste the wines in pairs - in each case, a decent, but lower-priced wine will sit alongside a more expensive example from the same region or grape variety. The 'plonk' we've selected will still be good wine, as we believe you shouldn't have to pay a fortune for good wine, but will you be able to tell the difference between it and the more expensive wine? Most importantly which will you prefer - the 'posh' or the 'plonk'?
