Saturday Course at The Last - 'Off The Beaten Track'

We ease you into the day with a glass of traditional sparkling wine with breakfast inspired canapés. The day also includes a delicious 3-course seasonal lunch and a mid-afternoon tea or coffee. During the day you will taste 15 fantastic wines from a range of up and coming or underrated wine regions and learn all about wine including how to make amazing food and wine pairings. This is your chance to explore the unkown as well as leaving informed of new wine region trends. The day is suitable for anybody, from beginners to budding connoisseurs and is a relaxed, informal event. Overview of the day: - Your day starts at 10am with a taste of Traditional Sparkling Wine and breakfast inspired canapés - You'll then enjoy a practical introduction to wine and wine tasting - In the morning you'll taste a range of wines that are deep-rooted in history in wine-making yet rarely make it onto wine lists such as Lebanon, Georgia & Cyprus. - You'll then break for a delicious three-course seasonal lunch served alongside 2 wines paired with the menu. - The afternoon starts with a fun blind tasting session - This is followed by a showcase of hidden gems from across the new world. Expect wine from Brazil, Canada and China - Finally we'll reveal how to create great food and wine pairings and the day finishes with some fine cheese paired with wine.
