In a city where dinner can sometimes feel over before the conversation has properly begun, Campo Viejo is inviting Londoners to slow things down. Sobremesa is the Spanish tradition of lingering around the table after a meal, talking, laughing and enjoying time together long after the plates have been cleared. For two evenings this October, Campo Viejo is bringing that spirit to Rivington Street through a colourful dining experience designed to be savoured rather than rushed. Arrive from 5:30pm and ease into the evening with a welcome glass of Campo Viejo Cava. Warm hosts will help everyone settle in before guests take their seats for dinner by 7:00pm (latest arrival 6:45pm). Indulge in a 2.5 hour sharing-style dining experience created and hosted by José Pizarro, acclaimed Spanish chef, restaurateur, and author widely recognized as the 'Godfather of Spanish cuisine' in the UK. Each dish revealed on the night will be paired alongside one of three Campo Viejo wines. Once dessert has been served, the evening moves into Sobremesa. The conversations continue and the timer starts, inviting you to forget the usual London rush and make a little more time for one another.
