Stevenage Members Game Lunch

With shorter days and colder nights, the hearty flavours of game are comforting and delicious, and offer an excellent partner for a range of wine styles. Join us as we taste our way through different game-based dishes, all sourced as locally as possible, and paired with a variety of excellent wines. Guided by your friendly Tastings Team, you will be guided through a four-course lunch focused on the rich, earthy flavours of game and of Autumn, exploring both classic and not-so classic wine matches. The menu and wines for this gastronomic event will be published no later than the week commencing 19th October. Beginning with a short introduction to the history of The Society while you refresh with an aperitif, you will then enjoy a delicious four course meal with paired wines, all in the comfort of our Members’ Room. Our friendly Tastings team will be on hand to guide you through the wines and dishes, offering interesting insights into the wines, their producers and their winemaking practices, and chatting through why the food and wine pairings were chosen. Expect an afternoon of good food, good wines, and good company!
