About this event

Curious about Tequila, Brandy or English Wine but don’t know where to start? Pop into our Amathus Brighton store and try out our new Spirit and Wine Tasting workshops. Each 25 minutes workshop is led by our certified inhouse expert, we will guide you through 3 tasting samples (25ml) in a fun and informative setting. Whether you’re just a curious individual who is passionate about your drink or a small group of friends who is looking for spending some interesting and quality time in Brighton. All Welcome. Introduction to Tequila: What is Tequila, how to taste spirits, difference between Tequila and Mezcal, Tequila styles and labels, myth busting and Q&A. Introduction to French Brandy: What is Brandy, how to taste spirits, difference between Cognac, Armagnac and Calvados, brandy styles and labels, myth busting and Q&A. Introduction to English Wine: Difference between English and British wine, how to taste wine, why Sussex is famous for sparkling wine, common grape varietals and styles in England, myth busting and Q&A.
