About this event
Some wines follow the crowd others follow their own path. Jura and Savoie sit almost side by side, yet speak very different wine languages. Close on the map, worlds apart in the glass! Two neighbouring mountain regions. Two very different identities. If geography makes them neighbours, what makes their wines so distinctly their own? This comparative tasting puts the two regions head to head: sparkling against sparkling, white against white, red against red. Crémant du Jura vs Crémant de Savoie, Savagnin vs Altesse, Trousseau vs Mondeuse. And to finish, we leave comparison behind: Château-Chalon, served with Comté — Jura at its most unmistakable. A curated selection of snacks and cheese to accompany the tasting.
