About this event
Join us for an evening exploring the elegance and diversity of modern Greek wine through indigenous grape varieties and regions. Set sail on a journey through one of the world's oldest and most exciting wine cultures. Along the way, you'll explore indigenous grape varieties, ancient winemaking traditions and the innovative producers putting Greece firmly back on the map of the world's great wine destinations. From crisp sparkling Assyrtiko and rich Savatiano Varelli to mineral Santorini, elegant rosé from Evia, the depth of mature 2012 Naoussa Xinomavro, and a refined Nemea the tasting offers a journey across Greece in seven glasses. Line-up includes: Matamis Brut Sparkling Assyrtiko, Markou Phenomena Savatiano Varelli, Santorini - Assyrtiko, Artemis Karamolegos Kouloura, Avantis Estate Falcon's Hill Rose, Taralas Estate Red Xinomavro 2012, Papaioannou Mikroklima Nemea. The tasting will be accompanied by a curated snack board. A relaxed and engaging evening for anyone curious to discover Greece beyond the familiar.
