Too Cool For School: Modern Wines to Rival The Classics

Classics are classics for a reason, but remember that every fine wine on earth was once undiscovered and unappreciated. Tonight we taste wines from stars of the future; winemakers who are forging their own path to produce what are often doppelgangers of fine wines from more traditional regions, but with a far more appealing price tag. Before you grab that same old bottle of Burgundy why not grasp instead a Pinot Nero from the Dolomites, or try some vintage Cava to rival the best Champagne? Let's unearth some modern classics! Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste 6-8 wines on a theme, and bread, cheese and charcuterie is provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
