A Wee Regional: Argentina Exploring the New World's High-Altitude Soul
For this Wee Focus, we're turning the spotlight on Argentina, a country with over 400 years of winemaking history that's delivering some of the most exciting and distinctive wines in the world today.
We'll be pouring four Argentinian wines that showcase the country's remarkable range, from the elegant, mineral-driven reds of high-altitude Mendoza to the bold, sun-soaked styles of the northern valleys, all shaped by ancient alluvial soils, dramatic altitude, and a winemaking culture.
As always, this will be a relaxed, approachable tasting with cheese and charcuterie boards and plenty of conversation. Perfect for anyone curious about what makes Argentinian wine so compelling—or just looking for a delicious way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
