About this event
A Wee Regional: Southern France Exploring Sun, Soil, and Southern Confidence
For this Wee Focus, we're turning the spotlight on Southern France—a region with centuries of winemaking heritage that's delivering some of the most exciting and diverse wines in the world today, blending ancient Mediterranean tradition with a bold, unpretentious sense of place.
We'll be pouring four Southern French wines that showcase the region's remarkable range, from the herb-scented reds of the Languedoc to the sun-soaked, full-bodied blends of the Rhône and Provence, all shaped by ancient soils, relentless sunshine, and a winemaking culture that's long done things its own way.
As always, this will be a relaxed, approachable tasting with sharing cheeseboards and plenty of conversation. Perfect for anyone curious about what makes Southern French wine so compelling—or just looking for a delicious way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Sun-soaked, generous, full of character.
