Enjoy a taste of Syrah/Shiraz at this wine-tasting experience in Fulham. You'll sharpen your senses in this interactive wine tasting workshop, where practical discovery takes centre stage. Rather than getting bogged down in complicated terminology, you'll learn how to taste and smell wine with greater confidence, starting with techniques that help you recognise the aromas in your glass. Your host will show you how to swirl wine to release its aromas before guiding you through short, deliberate sniffs to identify fruit, floral, and oak notes. Then it's time for the blind aroma game, where you'll smell hidden scent prompts such as dark berries, vanilla, leather, and kitchen spices before trying to match the mystery aromas to what you find in your wine. You'll also explore how food can change the way wine tastes by pairing selected wines with artisanal cheeses, cured meats, nuts, and gourmet bites. As you taste, you'll discover how salt, fats, and proteins can soften tannins, balance acidity, and reveal different fruit flavours. With tasting sheets to take home, you'll leave with a more practical understanding of your palate and a fresh perspective on enjoying wine.
