Wine Tasting with Carl at Traders Wine Bar

Enjoy wine but want to feel more confident about what you’re tasting? Join us for a relaxed, sociable guided wine tasting in a small group, with a beautiful view over St Katharine Docks.
We’ll be a maximum of six people, making this an informal and friendly session with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share impressions and compare tasting notes.

You’ll taste four different wines, served blind at first, with a 125 ml glass of each. Using a simple wine-tasting chart, we’ll explore what we can see, smell and taste in each glass before revealing the wines and discussing their background, style and key characteristics.
This tasting will go a little deeper into tasting notes than a typical casual wine evening. Beginners are absolutely welcome, but it is best suited to anyone happy to take a few notes, think about the wines, and join in with the discussion—there are no wrong answers.
