Come and enjoy a evening of fine sparkling wines, as if we need much of an excuse to spend an evening drinking delicious fizz. So make sure to bring a friend or two along.
We'll sample 6 wines including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco, English Sparkling wine, and two sparkling wines from elsewhere in the world.
The process involved in making the bubbles is key to the flavour and style of the wine. We will sample Champagne (made using the traditional method) and compare it with other fizz from around the world.
During the evening we will cover:
- the differences between Champagne, Prosecco, and Cava
- a comparison with New World sparkling wines
- perfect foods to complement Champagne
This evening is suitable for all levels of wine knowledge!
