World of Wine: Discover Italy!

Welcome to the wonderful World of Wine looking at Italy! Italy is a nation that loves its food and accompanies it with many exciting wines. During this evening, we will do some food and wine matching and aim to crack the wine pairing code! Some of the best Italian wines come from the big three regions – Tuscany, Piedmont, and Veneto, where famous wines such as Chianti, Barolo, and Valpolicella are produced. There are also stunning wines produced in Abruzzo, Puglia, and Sicily giving us even more regions to explore. We'll look at both the whites and reds of this amazing country and see why they are truly masters of their native grape varieties. This evening is suitable for all levels of wine knowledge! This event will include tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, wine notes & handouts, and a 2-hour interactive presentation, with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
