A beginner level introduction to wine suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine and want to gain the basic wine knowledge. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. The course includes tasting 8 wines, expert tuition, study materials, and a 45-minute multiple choice exam. Upon successful completion (70%+), you receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin. The course takes place in the basement of the South Kensington store and is limited to ten students. Doors open at 10:15 AM. No refunds.
