This hands-on introduction to the world of wine is ideal for beginners and covers the basic styles of wine, main grape varieties, how to store and serve wine correctly, and how to pair food and wine successfully. The course makes an ideal gift for a friend or family member with an interest in wine. The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines course programme is as follows: The main styles of wine, The WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine, The characteristics of the common grape varieties used to produce wine, Service and storage of wine, Food and wine pairing. To gain the qualification, students need to pass a multiple choice paper of 30 questions. The price includes wine samples, study guide, tuition & exam.
