About this event
This hands-on introduction to the world of wine is ideal for beginners and covers the basic styles of wines, main grape varieties, how to store and serve wine correctly, and how to pair food and wine successfully. The course makes an ideal gift for a friend or family member with an interest in wine. Programme outline includes the main styles of wine, the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine, the characteristics of the common grape varieties used to produce wine, service & storage of wine, and food and wine pairing. To gain the qualification, students need to successfully pass a multiple-choice paper of 30 questions. The price includes wine samples, study guide, tuition & exam.
