Expand your wine knowledge with this four-day beginner to intermediate WSET Level 2 course held at Little Swift, a natural wine bar in Margate. The course covers how to taste and describe wine using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT), how grape-growing and winemaking influence wine styles, key grape varieties (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah/Shiraz), regionally important varieties, sparkling and fortified wines, labelling terms, storage, service, and food pairing. Suitable for wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. Includes classroom study, 11+ hours of personal study, and a one-hour multiple choice exam. Price includes tea, coffee, and light lunch each day. Access to the classroom involves a flight of stairs.
