Daria Ilina (WSET Level 3, FWS, IWS, SWS) has been travelling to Armenia for the past 12 years, drawn back again and again by its wines, food, landscapes and extraordinary hospitality. Her relationship with Armenian wine has been built on the ground: visiting vineyards and cellars, talking to winemakers, tasting widely and following the changes in the country’s wine scene over the years. Along the way, Armenia has also become a place of close friendships and personal connection. Daria now organises wine and culture trips to Armenia, introducing others to the producers, places, tables and people that have made her fall in love with the country herself.
