For wine lovers

Finding events near you

Browse the homepage, use the events index, filter by type, and search by postcode.

Start at the homepage

The homepage is the quickest way to get to something good. Type a postcode or city into the search box, tap a quick filter like "This weekend" or "Tasting", and the featured events update to match.

The full events page

If you want proper filters, head to Events in the top navigation. You can combine any of these at the same time:

  • Location. Type a postcode, city, or neighbourhood. Events are sorted by distance.
  • Search. Match words in the title or description.
  • Event type. Tasting, masterclass, supper club, wine dinner, course, wine fair.
  • Tag. Grape, region, or style: natural wine, English wine, champagne, sherry, and so on.
  • Price. Free, under £20, £20 to £40, or £40+.
  • Date range. From and to dates.
  • On-demand. Flip this pill on to see experiences that are bookable on request rather than on a fixed date (think at-home tasting kits, private tastings, or "pick any evening" offerings). They sit outside the date-sorted feed because they have no set date.
  • Remote. Flip this pill on for online tastings, where the host runs the event over video and wines are typically delivered to your door.

List view or map view

Toggle between List and Map at the top of the results. The map is handy if you are planning a trip or want to see which neighbourhood has the most going on.

Browsing by tag or city

Scroll to the bottom of the events page for a wall of tag links: French, Natural Wine, Sparkling, WSET. Tap one to see every event tagged that way. You can also find city pages (for example /events/in/london) and type pages (for example /events/type/masterclass) for a cleaner view.

Tip

Set your postcode once in your account and Sommly remembers it. Every list will then default to "near you".
