Sommly Learn is a free study library for anyone learning about wine. Written guides you can read front-to-back, and spaced-repetition flashcards that quiz you on what you almost forgot. Useful whether you are prepping for a WSET qualification or just curious.
What is inside a course
Every course has two halves that work together:
- The guide. A written study companion broken into chapters. Read it like a book, or jump to whichever section you need.
- The decks. A set of flashcard decks, one per chapter, plus a whole-course review deck once you are further in.
Studying with flashcards
Pick a deck and tap Study. Each card is a question (multiple choice or free-recall). Answer it, and the engine asks you to grade how well you knew it. The harder a card feels, the sooner it reappears. Easy cards drift further away.

My Learning is your home base: which courses you are enrolled in, how many cards are due today, your streak, and how many reviews you have done.
Signing up and progress
Everything on Sommly Learn is free. You need a wine lover account to track progress (so the spaced-repetition engine remembers what you have seen). Without one you can still read the guides, but your streak and review stats will not save.
Note
